Morgan Amiel Faulkner LMSW

(SHE/HER). I am a licensed Clinical Therapist and Social Worker with 15+ years in professional communications & collaboration, and a long standing career in Musical Theatre, TV, and Film as a performer, director, teacher and choreographer.

My journey with healing began in 2002 when my best friend (and co-clinician) introduced me to Psychodrama Trauma-treatment (PTDD); the use of character study and role play to assist in emotional, psychological, and spiritual healing. It was acting and improv and therapy all in one and I was hooked.

In the years that followed, I enjoyed a fruitful career in musical theatre, but I always returned to that group room in Albuquerque, New Mexico where three days a week, teens would turn up like season ticket holders to do some of the most challenging work on the planet.

As time passed, my passion for playing a character turned into a passion for playing myself. Working as an actress taught me how to solve problems quickly and creatively, how to communicate with empathy, how to use my voice…and I wanted to help others do the same.

So, in 2016, I traded in my scripts for textbooks and returned to New Mexico to pursue my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work.

I have since worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups, ranging from addiction and trauma recovery to career counseling, phobias, PTSD, anxiety and depression, self esteem, coping skills, and more.

Today, I help people Integrate self-empowerment, resiliency, and relief from suffering into the stories of their lives.

I love what I do and it is an honor to serve my community.
